What We Do

YNY Gives Back

Books Still Matter

A YNY philanthropic project that has distributed 10,000 children's books to families in Brooklyn public housing. The signature 'Latke Appreciation Night' fundraiser collects books while guests enjoy homemade latkes at beloved local venues.

Margarita Appreciation Night

A 24 year old annual fundraiser that has raised over $100,000 for Brooklyn organizations including Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger, The Healing Center, Maimonides Breast Cancer Center, and Red Hook Initiative.

YNY Turkey Classic Golf Outing

Annual November charity golf event supporting the Anthony J. Genovesi Scholarship at St. Francis College, helping first-generation college students access higher education.

Turkey Couture

Recognizing that our YNY Thanksgiving Classic swag was special, we created Turkey Couture - a limited-run apparel and merchandise line celebrating the spirit of the event. 100% of proceeds go directly to the Anthony J. Genovesi Scholarship Fund at St. Francis College, helping first-generation college students access higher education.
